River Tam from Firefly.
I’ve always wanted to do a drawing of a Firefly character but never got around to it, until now of course.
I wouldn’t say I have a favourite character, each one has their own appeal but for some reason whenever I thought about working on one of the characters I always seemed to settle on River.
I was actually inspired to get off my butt and draw her because of
and his amazing sculpts of the cast of Firefly.
I figured if he could manage to sculpt the entire cast I could at least manage a portrait of one of them.

And you like Firefly too. Wow! This is very cool too. I was doing a favorite character " meme " and was torn between doing Jayne ( is that how it's spelled? ) or Inara. Never got to the point of doing either though.
